Friday, June 20 is a half day!

School release times:

Bremerton High School:  10:50 a.m.
Mountain View Middle School:  11:35 a.m.
Elementary Schools:  12:35 pm. 

2024-25 School Year extended to June 20

The Bremerton School Board has approved the updated 2024-25 academic calendar (download below) which includes THREE snow make-up days, on which school will be open for regular instruction:

  • Friday, February 14

  • Friday, May 23

  • Friday, June 20 – Last day of school!

Note: June 19 is a holiday and schools will be closed.

 

The first day of kindergarten for 2025 is Monday, September 8

The District’s academic calendar was updated on May 15 to reflect a correction for the first day of kindergarten in fall 2025. The first day of kindergartedn is Monday, September 8 – not Friday, September 5.

7:30 a.m. - 2:10 p.m. (12:15 release on Wednesdays)

Mountain View Middle School

8:10 a.m. - 2:50 p.m. (12:55 release on Wednesdays)

Elementary schools

9:05 a.m. - 3:35 p.m. (1:40 release on Wednesdays)

School Arrival Times & Breakfast

Elementary schools

The doors open for students at 8:55 a.m. Breakfast will be offered in every classroom at the beginning of the school day at no charge. Breakfast will not be offered prior to the start of the school day. 

MVMS

Doors open for students at 7:50 a.m. Breakfast will be available in the cafeteria to all students at no charge. Students who arrive after breakfast can pick-up a “grab-and-go” breakfast to eat during first period. 

BHS

Unless enrolled in “0 hour,” the doors to BHS open for all students at 6:50 a.m. Breakfast will be available in the commons/cafeteria to all students beginning at 7 a.m. at no charge.

RHS

The RHS Campus opens for students at 7:40 a.m. Breakfast will be available for all students at no charge.

Bremerton High School

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday school hours are 7:30 a.m. - 2:10 p.m. Wednesday (early release) School hours are 7:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

Other School Calendars

  • Printed wall calendars are distributed to the youngest child in every family by our schools in the fall. Copies are also available for staff and upon request. To request a copy, please stop by any school or the District office during regular school/office hours. You can also download an electronic copy.
