Security Fencing and Single Point of Entry

Our school campuses are secured by fencing and access to our schools is limited to a single point of entry during the school day.

When you enter a school, you will be greeted at the school’s Welcome Centers where you will be checked-in using our visitor management system, and given a badge for you to wear during your visit.

Visitor Management System

An important part of keeping students and staff safe is knowing who is in our buildings at all times. The Bremerton School District utilizes the Raptor Visitor Management System in our schools to strengthen our campus safety for students and staff.

Visitors are required to sign in, present a valid ID, and state their purpose for being on campus. This system provides us with a record of all visitors and allows us to track their movement within the building.

Please wear your badge in a visible location while you are visiting our schools.

About Raptor

This system scans the visitor's name, date of birth, partial license/ID number and photo for comparison with a national database of registered sex offenders. The registered sex offender database is the only official database checked by the Raptor system. Once the entry is approved, Raptor will issue a badge that identifies the visitor, the date, and the purpose of his/her visit.
