Attend a School Board Meeting

You can attend regular meetings in-person or online.
All are welcome at Bremerton School Board meetings. Meetings are held in-person, and broadcast on Zoom.

Attend In-Person

All are welcome to attend a School Board meeting in-person.

Meeting Location

Meetings are held at the Bremerton School District Administrative Offices at 134 Marion Avenue North (view map) in the Board Room.

Attendees do not need to sign-up or RSVP to attend.
Look for signs in the front of the building directing you to the Board room.
Please enter through the doors on the north (closest to the gym).
Please sign-in at the welcome table when you arrive.
If you'd like to make public comment, please complete the public comment form (more info on addressing the board during the meeting is available below).

Participate Online

All Bremerton School District Regular Board meetings are broadcast online via Zoom.

Zoom meetings are not interactive; participants via Zoom can communicate in the Chat, but cannot make public comment.

How to Register

Attendees must pre-register to participate in a Board meeting on Zoom. To register:

Go to our BoardDocs website on the day of the meeting.
Click on the meeting date for the meeting you'd like to view.
Click on the "video" icon and complete the registration.
You will receive an automated email with a link to attend the meeting.

Communicating with our School Board

You can reach the entire Board, including the Superintendent, by sending your email to bsd-board@bremertonschools.org.

At a Meeting
There is a public comment period during each regular meeting where visitors may address the Board. Each speaker has up to three minutes.

To address the board during a meeting:

You will need to submit a "Request to Address The Board" form.

This form can be downloaded here or is available at the sign-in table just prior to each regular meeting.

Give the form to the Board Secretary Marlaina Simmons before the Board meeting begins.

You may also comment prior to Board action on any specific action agenda item, by simply raising your hand during Board discussion. Comments on agenda items are also limited to three minutes.
