Building a Foundation for Student Well-Being: Bremerton School District Health Services
Our Health Team works to support a safe and inclusive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive by:
- Providing care during the school day: We provide first aid, triage for illness and injuries, and direct services for students with special needs.
- Building strong partnerships: We foster open and ongoing communication with students, families, school staff, healthcare providers, and community health and wellness partners.
Each school has a registered nurse available to provide a wide range of services for students such as:
- Managing acute and chronic health conditions
- Addressing physical, mental, emotional, and social health needs for students
- Providing health education to promote physical and mental health
- Coordinating care with families and health care providers
- Administering medications and treatments
