Bremerton School District offers a comprehensive range of academic programs, extracurricular activities and athletics programs, and student support services to empower all students.

Spanish dual language immersion classes for grades K-5

Elementary arts integration program
K-5 students passionate about the arts can attend View Ridge Elementary Arts Academy.

Award-winning music program
Bremerton High School offers award-winning band, orchestra and choir programs.

80+ extracurricular activities
Sports, music, fine & performing arts and student interest clubs in middle and high school.

Strong support of military families
One of the first districts in the state to earn the Purple Star distinction, and the recipient of numerous Department of Defense Education Activity grants.

We are an AVID District
Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) focuses on writing, inquiry, organization, and reading, while providing students opportunities to learn how to advocate for themselves and master collaborative study skills.

Numerous career & college programs
We offer ten graduation pathways, including four course-based pathways (rather than test-based). Multiple dual-credit opportunities allow our students to earn college credit while in high school.

Partnership with Olympic College (OC)
OC is next door to Bremerton High School making it convenient for Running Start students. Each year, 30 students earn generous scholarships to OC through the OC Promise program.
