BHS Orienteering Athletes compete in the national competition in Bridgeport, TX

The Bremerton Knights Orienteering Team traveled to the national orienteering competition in Bridgeport, Texas recently where the team placed third overall, and 2nd place among JROTC units. The weather and terrain were harsh and the thorny vegetation proved to be the hardest obstacle. Congratulations to sophomore Nathan Hinds who finished 7th of 46 competitors in the varsity category! In the junior varsity category there were 59 competitors. Bradley Pickering finished 13th, Alex Boyer finished 17th, Anakin Petheram finished 24th and Maynor Pablo Mendoza finished 34th. Congratulations to all of these athletes!
